| show-medals = yes | updated = }} Artur Dilman ((カザフ語:Артур Дильман); born August 29, 1990 in Almaty) is a Kazakhstani swimmer, who specialized in freestyle and individual medley events. He is a multiple-time national record holder and a five-time medalist for the freestyle, medley, and relay swimming events at the Asian Indoor Games (2007 in Macau, China and 2009 in Hanoi, Vietnam). He also won a bronze medal, as a member of the Kazakhstan swimming team, in the 4×100 m medley relay at the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou, China. Dilman qualified for the men's 200 m freestyle at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, by clearing a FINA B-standard entry time of 1:52.42 from the Kazakhstan Open Championships in Almaty. He challenged six other swimmers in heat two, including four-time Olympian Andrei Zaharov of Moldova, and his current college teammate Vladimir Sidorkin of Estonia. He raced to fifth place by 0.24 of a second behind Algeria's Mahrez Mebarek with a time of 1:52.90. Dilman failed to advance into the semifinals, as he placed fifty-second out of 58 swimmers in the preliminaries. On June 17, 2012, Dilman ordered a six-month suspension by the Kazakhstan Swimming Federation, after he was tested positive for a banned substance methylhexaneamine, following an in-competition doping test at the ENKA Open in Istanbul. On March 13, 2013, Dilman helped out his college team Drury Panthers to claim their ninth consecutive title in the men's freestyle relay at the NCAA Division II Swimming Championships.
